As comedian Julius Agwu undergoes what his manager called “a routine checkup” for the surgery operation he had few months for his brain tumor in London, his friends and colleagues have sent a plea message to Nigerians to help pray for his quick recovery.

Media icon, Emma Ogosi, asked about the latest on his health on a social media group called CMC, a group which has all the who is who in the entertainment industry in Nigeria, and some of his colleagues said; contrary to what his manager has said concerning a ‘check up’ Julius needs our prayers at this moment. Initiator of the group, Cornel Udofia had posted; “Let us all pray for Julius Genius Agwu.”

Witch Allegedly Turns To Owl, Falls And Dies During Vigil Crusade In Enugu State (Photo)

Kemi Filani is reporting that an owl who is believed to be a witch allegedly came to attack the reverent father (Pictured above) at a crusade which was ongoing at Nkwo Umuiyida Enugu-Ezike in Igbo-Eze LGA Enugu state recently.

This Guard Was Arrested For Sucking The Brєαsts Of His Employer’s 10 year Old Daughter

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 24-year-old security guard, Ossai Sylvester, for allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in the Victoria Island area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Sylvester, who was employed to guard a private apartment on Teslim Elias Close, was arrested on Monday by the Victoria Island Police Division for allegedly sucking the breast of the victim, who is also his employer’s daughter.

A police source told our correspondent that the suspect also inserted his finger into the private parts of the 10-year-old, before the employer caught him and reported to the police.

He said,

“The incident happened at about 11.30pm on Saturday. The guard allegedly lured the girl to a secluded spot in the house and sucked her breast. He also dipped his left finger into her private parts. He has confessed to the crime.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed Sylvester’s arrest.

She said,

“The matter was reported and the suspect has been arrested. The victim has been taken for a medical examination.

“The Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has directed that the case be transferred to the gender unit at the state command headquarters for further investigation.”

Married Couple In Their 90s Still Can’t Do Without One Another

Georgian couple, Tom Clark, 96, and his wife, Arnisteen Clark, 92, who have been married for 68 years have only been separated once since they got married: When Tom, an Army veteran was posted to the Korean war.

The couple currently both on admission in the Piedmont Fayette Hospital were not allowed to stay in the same room. The hospital policy prohibits orthopaedic patients from sharing private rooms.

Tom could not bear the thought of being away from his wife so the hospital worked a visiting schedule that allows him to stay with his wife for hours,

“My wife is the finest woman in the world, I just can’t be away from her,” Tom told the hospital team.

The hospital has since posted the picture of the aged couple and wished them a speedy recovery.

“Fayetteville residents Tom and Arnisteen Clark have been married for 68 years. The only time they have been apart during their marriage is when Tom, an Army veteran, was stationed in Korea.

“This made their stay in different rooms in the hospital very difficult for them, so Tina Mann, Manager, Orthopedics Medical-Surgical 4, with help from the clinical staff, went above and beyond to make a special arrangement for Tom, 96, to visit his wife, in her room.

“Overcome with joy, he wept as he described the deep love he has for Arnisteen, 92. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery for the Clarks and many more happy years together,” the hospital wrote on Facebook.

Fresh Tension As Police Nab Fulani Herdsman With AK47 Rifle In Enugu

There was fresh tension, Monday, in Enugu following the arrest of an AK47 wielding Fulani herdsman.The incident came barely four days after some herdsmen launched deadly attack in Attakwu community, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Information gathered that the 20-year-old suspect, who identified himself as Ibrahim Adamumale, was nabbed in Affa, Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.

A source hinted that he was in possession of the sophisticated gun, with 24 rounds of live ammunitions.

The police spokesman in Enugu State, SP Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident said “the suspect claimed that he is from Nassarawa State but lives at Hausa quarters, 9th mile, and that he is a herdsman, with some cows.”

He added that “the suspect was nabbed on 29/8/16 by the combined efforts of the police and the members of the public from Affa, acting on a tip off.

“The suspect, before he was nabbed, had expended about six shots on the air to evade arrest, but he failed to the superior effort of the police and members of the public, who have gathered information about his antecedents in relation to bearing sophisticated weapon, within Affa axis and its environs.

“The suspect is now helping the police in their investigations in relation to how he came about the riffle.

“The state commissioner of police, Emmanuel Ojukwu has expressed delight at the effort of his men and the community leading to the arrest of the suspected hoodlum and the recovery of the gun and ammunition.

“He assures that Enugu State under his watch will continue to partner relevant stakeholders and sister agencies for a safe and secured environment.” -DP

The Chief Imam of Area 10 Mosque, Abuja, Sheikh Yahya Al-Yolawi, on Friday reportedly advised intending pilgrims to settle their debts and leave their wills behind before travelling to Saudi Arabia.
The Abuja-based Islamic scholar, while delivering Jumma’at sermon titled ‘Essential tips for Hajj Preparations’, said the need to leave a will behind was because the journey to Holy land may be the final journey for some pilgrims.

He explained that it was an invitation from Allah to the most famous acts of worship, adding that hajj was a unique and extra ordinary journey in the life time of all pilgrims.
Al-Yolawi said, “An intending pilgrim should settle his debts and leave behind him a clear record as well as writing all his wills or what he intends to pass to his family.

“Journey to hajj requires high level of patience, because it was always accompanied with difficulties ranging from fatigue to physical and social abnormalities as well as intolerance from other pilgrims.
“One should not allow Shaitan (devil) to hijack him and spoil his hajj out of ignorance or annoyance. This emphasises on the importance of piety as first ingredient of one’s journey to Mecca, which means to maintain good relationship with your Lord by devoting yourself to obey him.”

According to the cleric, the intention behind one’s journey to hajj must be for the sake of Allah alone as, whoever, performs any act of worship in order to please people or gain popularity has done wrong.

While admonishing pilgrims that they should ensure that their sources of income are clean and legitimate as that would please Allah, the cleric said, “Prophets Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: learn your rituals from me, for I do not know whether I would be performing Hajj after this Hajj of mine,” (Muslim Hadith no 1297).”
On taking photographs, Al-Yolawi warned that it was wrong to take photographs for whatever purpose while observing hajj rites, saying that such action could contradict pilgrims’ sincerity of performing hajj for the sake of Allah.

He, however, prayed to Allah to continue to protect Islam and safeguard Nigerian pilgrims as they take off to Saudi Arabia, saying, “May the Lord accept their Hajj, prayers, grant their supplications and bring them back to us in peace and safety.”

RE-IPOB Sacks Nnamdi Kanu Sacked As Leader, Accused Of Betraying Their Struggle And Using It To Acquire Wealth, Fame To Himself

Newly formed pro Biafra group – Reformed Indigenous People of Biafra (RE-IPOB) – has said it sacked the detained director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and its splinter group, The Rebranded Indigenous People of Biafra (TRIPOB) because they betrayed the Biafran struggle through collection of money from local and foreign sponsors.

In a new statement, spokesman of RE-IPOB, Ikemba Biafra, accused Kanu of insulting respected Biafran and Igbo leaders and converting the Radio Biafra set up by the leadership of the Movement for the Actualization Sovereign States of Biafra, MASSOB, to a private propaganda tool.

The group added that Kanu’s unguarded utterances led to the detention and death of innocent Biafran youths and accused him of not being sincere about Biafran struggle and using the platform to attract fortune to himself.

“The emergence of TRIPOB is a fall out of the internal wrangling in the IPOB. Members and officers of IPOB loyal to one of the spokesmen of IPOB, Emma Nmezu, are behind TRIPOB. There is nothing actually different between IPOB and TRIPOB. This is why we wielded the big stick to sack them to save the Biafran struggle. We urge all pro-Biafra groups to remain calm and cease any contact with Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB or TRIPOB and await further information from RE-IPOB.”

While reiterating its earlier promise to disclose the identities of their leaders on Monday, August 29th, 2016, the RE-IPOB spokesman added that names of their mediators to the expected dialogue with the federal government would also be made public.

The group warned that the Biafran movement is not a tool for political shenanigans, stressing that attempt to use TRIPOB to influence the federal government by a certain politician, would fail.

It’s the story of a down period in his Campus days. Even though he was industrious and was into Events and Pageants, things weren’t just happening for him.

It got so bad his Ex – the one he was supposed to marry – visited him on a cold Abraka Night.
The Mission? To break a News! “AY,” she whispered, softly and tenderly, “you know I love you, but you are approaching life at SNAIL SPEED. I can’t go on like this.” Then she hugged AY. Gave him one last peck. Refrained from the hug. Cat-walked into a waiting SUV. And zoooom… she went.

Apparently, some ‘big men’ had brought her to officially disengage with AY.
It was more agonising because the same ‘big man’ had offered AY N200,000 so he could break up with his Girlfriend. And AY had rejected the offer, insisting: “my love is not for sale.” Now she’s gone. Just like that.

Nigerian Medical Student Makes History After Winning 12 Out Of 15 Awards Obtainable Upon Completion Of Medical School In Ghana

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, School of Medical Sciences graduation witnessed a historic moment since its inception with a record set by Nigerian Fathia Ayodele Kareem, 25, who won 12 out of 15 awards to students who distinguished themselves during their period of study.

That Bismark Kusi who accused me, his family and those who appeared as witnesses, I will deal with them spiritually; my father Jesus Christ who you disgraced will never allow you to have peace. You will see what will happen to you,” he said.

Angel Obinim also revealed that he has enough properties, including 20 houses and several cars which makes it strange for anybody to accuse him of fraud.

I had five Infinity SUVs and three Chryslers which I also gifted to my pastors because my car is ‘AUTOBIOGRAPHY’, meaning the car’s brain power is superior to that of a human being. If you cross that car, it stops automatically, and its door is not slammed, it shuts by itself. It is also bulletproof” he boasted.
