The story of a 24-year-old Nigerian woman identified only as Juliet who was tricked into prostitution in Russia where she went to study, has gone viral.
Narrating the the heart-chilling story, a Russian photographer, Tatiana Egorova, revealed that some Nigerian pimps usually lure most girls into sex slavery abroad by promising them good jobs.
Egorova further disclosed that Juliet, who hails from Edo State, went to study Economics in a Russian University only to be tricked into prostitution by a woman after they arrived the airport in Moscow.
The woman reportedly told Juliet that she owed her the money which she paid for their transit and urged her to sell her body to men in order to pay her back.
“Juliet is from Benin City, Edo State and she was first girl I spoke with. Juliet said her neighbor who was later revealed to be working for a gang, suggested to Juliet’s parents to send their daughter to study Economics at a Russian university,” Egorova disclosed.
While quoting Juliet directly, Egorova said, “I’d just finished school and my parents agreed to send me to Russia after they were convinced by a neighbour that it would be best for me.
“My neighbor helped to get a student visa for me. When we landed at Moscow airport, her friend met us and took me to Voronezh, 543km away from Moscow.
“When we arrived Voronezh, the neighbor told me I owed her $45,000, being what she spent on me on transit and I must become a prostitute so as to make money to pay off the debt.
“She took away all my money and passport and with life being so difficult for me, I had to join in the sex work because the woman and her friends tortured me every day for disobeying them.
“I was stranded and left with no other option. I became a sex slave to both men and animals and nothing to show for it because my madam takes all the money.”

No less than seven people were killed, and about 30 more injured, most of them critically, when the Nigerian police and military reportedly opened fire dispersing a crowd of the pro-Biafra marchers at Onitsha in Anambra state on Sunday.
According to some reports from Anambra state, three people were fatally shot dead on the spot and 30 others got bullet wounds when the police and Nigerian navy opened fire to disperse the crowd of the pro-Biafra marchers in Onitsha on Sunday.
More than twenty people were critically wounded and by this Monday morning there were seven people dead as a result of shooting at the demonstrators.

The death toll hasn’t been verified officially yet, but the reports claim that those people were hit with stray bullets.

The crowd gathered under the aegis of the Indigenous People of Biafra which issued official statement condemning the shooting at the unarmed people.
Pro-Biafra marchers were peaceful and unarmed, reports claim.
It claims that over 30 people got shot and 7 people were confirmed dead on Monday while 20 more were critically wounded.
Military and policemen opened fire dispersing the crowd.
“How come our security men find it so easy to kill peaceful IPOB members but won’t lift a finger against the deadly Boko Haram? These brothers were peaceful in their engagement, they weren’t radical or causing any harm according to eye witnesses, they weren’t armed, so why shoot at them?” was said in the IPOB statement.
The agitation for the actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra has been on for some time now. The Republic of Biafra came about when a secessionist state situated in south-eastern of Nigeria tried to break away from Nigeria but were stopped. Biafra was inhabited mostly by the Igbo people and was in existence from 30th May 1967 to 15th January 1970.
The Movement for the Actualization of State of Biafra (MASSOB) is yet to give up the fight to secede from Nigeria. The group have even established a radio station, called Radio Biafra somewhere in Europe.

My Experience At A Secrete Gay Wedding At A Night Club In Lagos
Bimbo Adetokunbo (not real name) relays her experience at an exotic gay wedding in Lagos. She also shares the stories of her close shave with lesbianism, the pressure, threats and attractions with Gboyega Alaka and Omolewa Oshin.
IT was an all-pink affair early March. All the girls were in pink bum shorts and rise and fall cropped top – that was the dress code. The atmosphere was surreal, with sensual lights, music, dance, rich perfume and sweat mingling. Wine and food was also in abundance; shawarma, asun, cake. Chicken barbecue… The celebration in the air was also unmistakable.
At the centre of it all were Tope and Tola (not real names), two women who found love and comfort in each other’s arms and decided to quit the pretences, damn the consequences and get married. Although it is common knowledge that same sex relationship and marriage is outlawed and punishable with up to 14 years imprisonment in the country, this couple was beyond caring, as they revelled in the joy of their day, exchanging vows. Another woman, also a lesbian, served as officiating minister and blessed the union. They also exchanged wedding bands in the form of exquisite ear rings and thereafter went into a frenzy of kisses and endless cuddling.
As if taking a cue, all the gay lovers in attendance also went into a frenzy of applause, cheers and kisses.
The wedding took place at a popular nightclub on Victoria Island, Lagos, and the couple, who are obviously from very comfortable backgrounds, wowed all present by capping it up with a presentation of exotic cars to each other as wedding gifts. The party went on until early the next morning, when the couple drove away in each other’s arms to their hotel room at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites, and guests sauntered away in trickles after wearing themselves out in a most exhausting bout of fun.
To tell the truth, it was probably the most exciting party I’ve been to in a long time. Even the nightclub staff and other people who had come on their own couldn’t help but join us, seeing the wild fun excitement in the air.
Like in normal wedding, both couple considered themselves the luckiest people on earth, having found best friends in each other. Tope could not hide her feelings and actually confided in some us, who are very close to her that the day was her most memorable so far, because she was not only hooking her best friend, but also her confidant. They generally exuded that familiar joy found amongst normal wedding couples. In their joy, they urged all present to enjoy all the food and drinks.
The party was organised by their gay friends, who felt compelled to host a wonderful bash for the ‘delightful couple’. Other gay lovers were also present in abundance, both the men and the lesbians.
Tope is a final year accounting student of a frontline private university in Ogun State, while Tola is a final year student of a federal government institution in Lagos. Somehow, they both looked set for a fulfilled family life, except that, as an outsider who got invited plainly on the level of my closeness to them, I kept wondering how they hope to make a life, and more importantly, make babies.
But from the look of things and the celebration on the night, that worry seemed not to be on their radar at all.
The whole gay thing
You may wonder and rightly so too, why I felt so comfortable in the midst of gay people, when I’m not. Well, I’m not gay, but it has taken me a lot of determination and will-power to resist and weather the temptations they throw at me. I attend the same private university with Tope in Ogun State. Tope was my roommate in school in year one, and a very jolly one too except for this gay thing. In fact, my five roommates were all lesbians, except for me. And it was not for lack of trying that they didn’t win me over. As a buxom lady, they all seem to have eyes for my body, and you could tell that they’d do anything to get me into their beds. They tried all tricks possible to lure me into lesbianism, promising me all the excitement possible and the fact that I only need to try it out to know why it is the fad today. But I stood my ground.
My reason? I just couldn’t bring myself to doing it with them, because that’s just not who I am. Often, they’d grab me and steal touches at my sensitive parts, all in the name of playing with me. Sometimes, they’d rush into the bathroom with me and start fondling me, but usually I smile and laugh over it, because I understand their plight and because they were not getting to me.
Besides, I’ve never had any feeling or affection for girls, and before you could really engage in lesbianism or lesbian sex with a fellow woman, you really must love the person. As I speak to you, the only woman I love is my grandmother, and of course falling in love with her in that skewed manner is not even in my wildest imagination, nor possible.
Also, the biblical verse that says one of the greatest sin anyone could commit is having sexual relationship with same sex, kept ringing in my head, and strengthened my resolve not to be a part of it.
But I maintained my relationship with them, because we were roommates anyway, and even if I moved away from that room, there was no guarantee that I would not meet more desperate ones where I was going.
Same sex relationship here to stay
To tell the truth, same sex has come to stay, even in this part of the world, as they seem to be swelling in ranks by the day. Even back in my secondary school, lesbianism had been the in-thing amongst students in boarding house. Although I was an innocent little girl, I still suspected that what they were doing was wrong each time they were at it, and I somehow distanced myself from it. I was sexually harassed by seniors who wanted to initiate me, and some even tried to force me through threats. But I resisted. Even my school mother was a lesbian don’t know if she still is.
It wasn’t until I got into the university that I began to really understand what it was they were doing. Prior to that time, I only just felt it was not right and nauseating. Besides, I was sixteen and had become more perceptive. It had also reached an alarming rate and level, way beyond what I witnessed in secondary school.
So as the only straight person in my room, I was the odd one out. They engaged in open cuddling, sex and all, without giving any recourse to me. I think they somehow felt comfortable with me, even though I refused to be drawn into their ‘sexcapades.’
They do things together, eat together, reff together (reff is a slang for indulging in Refnol drug or Rohypnol), which sort of gets them high. I think it helps them get maximum satisfaction in their escapades.
As we became closer and they got more comfortable with me, I summoned the courage to ask them what they derive from lesbianism and why they couldn’t just conform to the natural order of heterosexuality.
One of them, Sylvia, told me that she got inducted by her aunt (her mum’s sister), who used to abuse her, from when she was a toddler, right through to her teenage years, until she began to enjoy it and suddenly feels nothing for male overtures. Now, she’s hooked and actually believes it is heavenly and most satisfying.
Another, Vivian, said she was raped by her male cousin early in her teenage years and therefore developed hatred and aversion towards men. Because that rape experience was painful, she came to believe that sex with men is painful, while it is gentle and sensual with fellow women.
For Temi (short for Temitope), she got into it as a result of peer pressure. She was introduced to lesbianism back in secondary school, and has found it pleasurable ever since. The fact that lesbians are not in short supply in the university also further entrenched her into it. Now, only god can extricate her from it.
And my fourth roommate, the newly ‘married’ Tope, said she had always been caged at home and never allowed to go out and have a taste of the world, except when going out with either or both her parents. So her first full independent outing was to the university, where unfortunately, she found herself in the midst of lesbians, who wasted no time in wooing her over.
Five years down the line, she has got so deep into lesbianism and decided it was the only way for her. Following her marriage to Tola, it is left to be seen whether she can ever get out of this ‘quagmire’. Time will tell.
My close shave
To tell the truth, they have never stopped making passes at me. I also find that there are more lesbians that many of us who consider it appalling and sinful may be able to imagine. Usually they approach me, ogling all over me and telling they like me as a total package.
I have also been tempted more than once. You know how it is when your tempters never stop.
On one such occasion, my boyfriend just left me and I was suffering a heartbreak. They saw that I was sad and brooding and tried to console me in their own way. They couldn’t understand why I wanted to die over a guy, whom they consider a mere wood, and told me as much. They also seized that opportunity to get closer to me and further give their life-long ambition a try. To tell the truth, I almost began to respond, but held back at the last minute.
Another close shave for me was more recently, when I met a woman on Lagos mainland who, asked me out. She wanted me to be her girlfriend. Because I had heard that she was an incorrigible lesbian, who had even initiated her daughters, I vehemently resisted her offer of friendship, even when she promised to regularly give me N250,000 as pocket money whenever I am going back to school.
When my friends heard the story, they all told me off and thoroughly insulted me; but I stood my ground. Later they begged me to introduce them to her, which I did. It’s their business if they want to mess around.
But not long after, I found myself in a dire financial situation and thought of her. I actually went to look for her, hoping secretly that she would show interest in me again, but she didn’t. I later learnt that she has found herself another lover.
The evil money can do, you may say, but thank God she found herself another lover.
Money, a big incentive
Aside my own story of how money almost swayed my resolve, I can tell you authoritatively that most converts to lesbianism are almost always swayed by the money incentive their ‘toasters’ dangle before them.
Usually, the richer girls, who are already deep into it woo innocent girls by toasting them like a man would a woman, and then they proceed to make irresistible promises once they notice that you’re giving them a listening ear, but not sure of yourself. How many indigent girls would be able to say ‘no’ to regular pocket money, good life, the pleasure of sex and the safety of pregnancy? Don’t forget, you can never get pregnant. So at home, you’re still the little homely mummy’s girl. Most times, when your partner even comes visiting at home, when you’re on holidays, your parents allow her into your room, and leave you both to ‘enjoy some privacy’.
Sometimes they even permit the girls to go spend days with each other, not knowing that they are lovers. So often, the girls get lured by money. It is a really big attraction. And once you’re hooked, you’re hooked.
Men, as logs
I also hear them say that sex with fellow female is more exciting and fulfilling, in the sense that they open even their hearts to each other. So it goes beyond mere sexual intimacy. They complain that men are like logs of wood, while it is more sensual with fellow women. They claim that only a woman can understand a female body; where to touch to get maximum pleasure and all that; whereas men only come with their usual mad rush and fizzle out in two minutes.
To tell the truth, the way they talk about it is always very tempting.
Now, it does not matter whether the government frowns at gay relationship or that there is a law stipulating long prison sentences, these people seek themselves out and have great fun. To have sex, they now use sex toys. They also do mouth job until they reach orgasm and climax.
Today, technology has made things easier. There is a group called Lesbian-gay bisexual transgender, through which they fight for their rights in public. They connect through this group. They also connect online through BBM, facebook, and at strippers’ clubs. And when they connect, they make friends and then subsequently engage in sex.
Usually it starts by them getting familiar; and then they come with the line, ”Are you into girls?”
So you see, they seek each other out and do their thing. They also fight for each other and even go to stations to bail themselves, when they run into trouble.
Like in the case of Tope and Tola, it sometimes results in marriage, or they may end up living as live-in lovers for as long as they can. As we speak, I can tell you that another wedding is in the offing.
Are parents aware?
Maybe, maybe not. How do you want to begin to suspect your daughter or sister with her female friend? It is hard, unless of course you got wind of the fact that her new friend is a lesbian, or you are also an enlightened parent and know the signs.
However, some parents are fully aware and condone it, since they are also into it or have been into it before. Some parents even consider it harmless. The lady I said proposed to me and promised me huge money has two teenage daughters, whom she has introduced to lesbianism already. She practically groomed them for lesbianism by instilling hatred for men in them.
Back to Tope and Tola
Tope met Tola through her friend, also a lesbian. She saw her picture, liked it, begged to be connected, and then it took off from there. Gradually they became inseparable and became engaged. They courted for four years and then announced that they were getting married. Of course they could not announce it openly, since it is against the law, but they passed the information through their friends and clique and it went round.
They live together now in the exclusive Banana Island Estate. Like I told you, they are daughters of powerful people and they can afford all the luxuries of life.
Female Student Hides ‘Exam Expo’ In Her Va.gina In Delta State University
No fewer than six female students, one of them a final year student of the Department of Library and Information Science, Delta State University, Abraka, were last Friday caught with “expo materials” during examination.
An examiner identified as Sylvester Okiemute caught a final year female student of the Department of Library and Information Science with incriminating materials during an examination.
Sources said the student was caught while sitting for an exam on ‘Entrepreneurship and Information Services’ who had been observing her suspicious moves.
It was gathered that the examiner, convinced that the student was making reference to a paper he smuggled in, asked her to hand over the paper.
The girl denied and that led to a shouting match between the examiner and the student. It was gathered that the examiner dipped his hands into her private part recovered the incriminating materials.
Our source, who narrated the incident on condition of anonymity, said the student was earlier caught by another examiner and she pleaded with the examiner, who later pardoned her.
She was reportedly given another booklet to start over again, but was caught again, 45 minutes later.

Career-wise, how has it been with you?
Career-wise, I have been doing very good. You know it is not a competition so I just go at my own pace.

I am a very deep person; I am a very spiritual person. I love people who love me and I don’t really care about what they say about me.
Does it affect you in any way?
It doesn’t affect me in any way when people I don’t care about talk about me. I try to make my anger so expensive that people can’t afford it, except people I love.
There are those who say that you intentionally generate controversy so that you will always be in the news. How would you respond to that?
It is not about intentionally generating controversy. When I’m happy, when I want to have fun, the way I have fun might be controversial for some because like right now, I came out to work and I’m looking all good but if I’m going to a party, you don’t expect me to be formal. You should also understand that what other people wear, when I wear it, it comes out different. There are different things that make me happy some people do drug but me I just like playing with my physique and playing with my attires. So that is the kick I get.
Your sexuality is always in the public eye. Are you comfortable with that?
I am very comfortable with myself. I love myself to bits. I love everything about me. I have no regrets.
People tend to know you more with your natural endowments…
(cuts in) When you talk about people, the truth is that, I don’t really care. I am having fun. Life is short. So I just do my thing. If you keep listening to people, you will just change your destiny. You won’t be able to achieve what you want. Then when you get old, you will be very annoying and irritable. Live your life. Don’t bother about all those people, especially when there is no particular name attached to these people.
How do you catch fun?
I love listening to music. I love dressing up. I love going out. Generally, I love doing things that make me happy.
Where does your music career stand as of today?
Like I always say when people ask me this question, I’m not in a competition with anybody. I’m doing good all by myself. You know, I have a good friend. He is a big name in this industry. Any money he gets, he uses it to shoot expensive videos and yet, this guy doesn’t even have a car.
Why would somebody stress themselves just because they want to be on TV all the time? It’s expensive to promote music so if you do one a year, it is not a bad thing. It depends on how you cut out your life but I always suggest. If you are an up and coming, always make sure you have other things you do. Don’t rely on just one source of income. That is why we have five fingers in each hand. Try to get like five things that will keep you very busy and will make money for you.
Are you working on an album?
My dear, again, let me repeat it. I am not in a competition with anybody. I have a studio in my place. I bought all the equipment needed for movie production. Anything that makes me happy, I just get it.
How would you describe your sense of style?
My sense of style all depends on what and how I feel. So if I feel like being sexy, I know what to do. If I am going for an interview, I know how to dress.
How do you relate with your fans?
I love my fans. I can do anything for them.

28-year-old Guvnor Ace (born Ronald Samawere) who had earlier been accused of ‘dating an ancestor’ got married to 68-year-old LisaJohnson on August 20 in a civil ceremony held at the Uganda Registration Service Bureau in Kampala before friends and family members.
Speaking to Uganda’s WBS TV on why he married his wife, the Ugandan dance-hall artiste said that young girls are a financial liability and some are not genuine.

A 16-year-old girl, Bimpe Badmus, has been burnt with a hot pressing iron, allegedly by her aunt who accused her of sleeping with their landlady’s son.The incident occurred on Ogunjirin Street, Ketu on the outskirts of Lagos.
We learnt that Miss Badmus’ aunt sought assistance of two friends, Khadijah and Iya Daniel, to hold her hands and legs before using the iron to burn her on several parts of her body.
Miss Badmus was said to have confessed sleeping with the landlady’s son.
An eyewitness said the girl was severely beaten and chased out of the house.
He said: “They all live in the same compound. It was Khadijah that told Bimpe’s aunt that she was sleeping with the landlady’s son. Khadijah brought the hot iron from her room and gave it to Miss Badmus’ aunt while she and Iya Daniel held her neck. It was when they chased her out that the neighbours rescued her.
“The annoying thing is that it is not as if these married women are clean. I don’t know why they did that to her. It was when residents couldn’t stand the horrible situation that they took them to Ketu Police Station.”
Mr Fatai, who claims to be Miss Badmus’ distant brother, said: “When I got to the police station to see Bimpe, I was sad because the sight was horrible. My sister (Bimpe) was writhing in pains and when I asked the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) to release her for treatment, he refused. I asked the aunt if she was under a spell to have gone this far because it won’t stop her from having an affair. This is cruel.”
The landlady’s son’s elder sister, Tope Abimbola, said: “Even before they were taken to the police station, she was in pain. I thought she was going to die. I quickly went to a nearby pharmacy to get an ointment to relief her of the pains. It is really painful. She has been admitted at the General Hospital, Ikeja and she is responding to treatment,” he said.
Khadijah’s husband, Jimoh, said his wife had been problematic.
When The Nation visited the police station on Tuesday and asked the DPO why the girl was still being kept despite her condition, the officer declined comment. He walked the reporter out of the premises.
Eye witnesses, neighbours and on-lookers were stunned when the DPO said he did not care if his reactions are published in the newspaper.
But, Bimpe denied sleeping with the landlady’s son.
”He has never slept with me. I am really in pains. I can’t even go home because I don’t know what will happen. While they tortured me, they kept asking so many questions. I pray God heals me fast,” she said.
Lagos police spokesperson Patricia Amadin, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), said the suspects had been arrested and will be charged to court.

Chelsea footballer John Obi Mikel has secretly fathered two children with different women, it has emerged today. The 28-year-old midfielder is dad to a four-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter after short relationships with the women.
He is understood to have bought a £500,000 house in 2013 in the Home Counties for his son and mum and is keen to play a part in the boy’s life.
A source told The Sun:
“John also agreed to give her tens of thousands a year in upkeep and, I think, agreed to give her a new car every three to five years.”
Mikel also financially supports his daughter, who was born after the couple met at a London nightclub in 2013.A friend of the daughter’s mum added:
“John has provided for her and the girl.She seems to have come into money since having the baby and is keeping a low profile.”
Mikel is now dating Russian businesswoman Olga Diyachenko and has posted pics of the pair together on social media.
A spokesman for the footballer told The Sun:
“This is an entirely private matter.John provides for and cares for his children and will continue to do so. He asks that their privacy is respected.”

A gay couple recently did something that shocked church members at The First United Methodist Church In Austin Texas.
Over the weekend 36-year-old Trevor Harper went down on his kneels to propose marriage to 30-year-old Davis Covin, his same s.ex partner of over 9 years.
Davis and Trevor both live in Texas. They met in 2006.
Trevor who planned the proposal with his pastor, Rev John Wright, went on both kneels this past Sunday and popped the question to Davis.

Photo: 10 Boko Haram Terrorists Sentenced To Death In Chad
Chad has sentenced 10 members of the Islamist militant group Boko Haram to death on terror charges, after a three-day trial in the capital N’Djamena.The 10 were convicted over their roles in twin attacks on the capital in June, which killed at least 38.
The attacks were the first by the Nigerian-based group in Chad, which hosts the headquarters of a regional force set up to fight the militants.
In July, Chad reintroduced the death penalty for acts of terror.
Opposition and civil liberties groups have criticised the new anti-terror legislation, saying it could be used to curb civil rights
The men were found guilty of charges including criminal conspiracy, killings, wilful destruction with explosives, fraud, illegal possessions of arms and ammunition, and using psychotropic substances, according to chief prosecutor Bruno Mahouli Louapambe, quoted in AFP news agency.
The trial had been due to last eight days, but “due to security reasons it was speeded up and moved on Thursday to an undisclosed secret location,” a judicial source told AFP.
Among those convicted was Mahamat Mustapha, aka Bana Fanaye, the man described as the “mastermind” of the attack by Chad’s Interior Minister Abderahim Bireme Hamid.
The June attacks were followed by a blast at a market in the capital in July, which killed 15 people.
Chad has banned people from wearing the full-face veil following the bombings.
Boko Haram had previously threatened to attack Chad, after it sent troops to help Nigeria recapture territory from the militant group, mostly in Borno state.
Chad has been instrumental in helping Nigeria retake most of the areas Boko Haram had seized.
The jihadists, who want to create their own Islamic caliphate in Nigeria, have killed thousands and forced millions to flee their homes in the country’s north-east Nigeria since 2009.

Usain Bolt ran his best 200m time in two years, cruising to a gold medal in the final at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing.
The 29-year-old Jamaican posted a time of 19.56 seconds, easily beating American Justin Gatlin, who finished second with a 19.74. Bolt edged Gatlinby one hundredth of a second to win gold in Sunday’s 100m final.
Anaso Jobodwana of South Africa finished third.
The win is Bolt’s 10th overall world title. He has won four gold medals in the 100m sprint, three in the 200m race, and three more in the 4x100m relay at the World Championships, dating back to 2009.
The only person, it seems, who can bring Bolt down is this cameraman on a Segway.

He said, “I met him via a friend, a gay Nollywood location manager. My friend told me that Yul Edochie was his ex boyfriend, so I decided to give it a trial of which he accepted. He requested that I should send him my picture of which I did. I started asking for his and he refused. By that time, I had filed papers for his family to travel to Canada and sent him two chronograph timepieces and other material things which he requested. We were in a discreet bisexual relationship because he mentioned to me not to get his wife involved. He also told me over the phone the hours I should call him and when not to.
“When he is on location, I can call anytime I want. The relationship went sour because he refused to send the pictures of his manhood after I sent mine. When he refused, I kept calling his line and he started changing his numbers. But later, he told me he didn’t want to send it to me because of his colleagues. He said he was scared that I might leak the pictures and his colleagues would see it.”
Ugochukwu told Saturday Beats that he and Edochie were in a relationship for about a year and a half. He said that they had intimate discussions over the telephone.
“I need to know if he was trying to scam me or rip me off. Why would he be requesting gifts from me if we weren’t into each other? If we weren’t in a discreet relationship, he wouldn’t say such to me. No hard core straight guy would ever open his mouth to say that to a stalker but he told me that several times. He said anytime I insulted him, I would pay fine. Yes, I paid fines because he kept demanding things from me,” he said.

In the quest for fast money, a 28-year-old Nigerian man identified simply as Chukwudi, has lost his life in bizarre circumstances after he
traveled to Malaysia to donate one of his kidneys to a patient needing a transplant.
According to a Nigerian business man based in that Middle East country, Chuwkwudi is not alone in this risky and dangerous business of selling internal organs for money as many young Nigerians undertake this venture just to get rich quick.
This is what the business man (name withheld by Pulse) reported exclusively to Pulse:
“I know many Nigerians will say it is none of my business how others make their money but I want to bring this to the notice of our country people how many of our young men die here in Malaysia in very disturbing circumstances.
I can tell of this young Igbo boy named Chukwudi, from Owerri, (Imo State) who was paid the sum of N6 million by one rich man to donate his kidney for a transplant.
The young man was brought in from Nigeria and I had the privilege of interacting with him and tried to dissuade from undertaking such a risky venture but he was adamant, telling me he had made up his mind already and nothing could stop him.
I even offered he join me in my little car washing business from which I have been able to build a house back home but Chukwudi did not want to struggle to make money.
He wanted fast money and he ended up a dead man because the operation was not successful. he died in the process while the rich man had a successful kidney transplant.
I felt so bad because I kind of liked the boy who was graduate and had a lot of life ahead of him.
I want to use this opportunity to warn our young people not to always be in a hurry to make fast money.”
