Syrian refugee kills one and injures others with a machete on the street in Germany

At least one person is dead and two others are injured after a 21 year old machete-wielding Syrian refugee allegedly attacked passersby on a German street today. The man randomly attacked people near a kebab shop in the city of RReutlinge.
A woman was killed in the horrific attack, while at least two others suffered unspecified injuries, according to police and local media.

Photos of the arrest show the man lying on the ground, with a bloodied face.

Armed police officers were seen standing above him, resting their boots on his body.

The motive behind the deadly attack remains unclear, according to Germany's Bild and Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspapers.

The police said the suspect is a Syrian asylum seeker and that he acted alone.
