How my mum was attacked - LIB reader shares shocking story with pics

"Some hoodlums throwing a party in the middle of the road attacked my mum on Saturday night on her way from a wedding. She is over 50 and a school teacher with he Lagos state government. They claimed to be Air force boys. The drunk boys dragged her down from the car claiming she hit somebody, stole her phones and bag, dragged her in the mud, poured drinks on her face and vandalized her new car. She had bruises on her legs. She was saved by the intervention of people around.‎





The case has been taken to the police but they will just be collecting money from both parties. My mum and one of them that was caught out of the many involved. Please let people know what's happening, the case is at a police station in Isheri area Alimosho around Ikotun, now. The incident happened at Ijegun-Ikotun area of Lagos.‎




Popular Televangelist, Benny Hinn suffers heart attack


Popular televangelist, Benny Hinn has been hospitalized after he suffered a heart attack. According to a post on the clergy man's website shared by his daughter, Jessica Hinn Koulianos, Pastor Hinn had just returned to California from a trip to Brazil when he became fatigued. What she wrote below...



"Recently he (Hinn) returned to California after ministering to crowds of over 100,000 people in Brazil, including over 2,000 pastors and leaders from all over South America. It was truly a remarkable nation-shaking event. And while it was a rewarding journey, after he arrived home he suddenly began battling fatigue and shortness of breath. For those of you who know my Dad, you know that he never stops; so when he spent over a week in bed, we knew something was wrong. I flew to California to be with him and insisted that he see a doctor. On Friday , he consulted with his local physician and was admitted to the hospital, where he was treated for lack of oxygen in his cardiovascular system," she wrote

Germanwings Plane With 148 Onboard Crashes In France


A passenger plane has crashed in the French Alps,,According to reports the plane Germanwings owned by Lufthansa was flying from Barcelona in Spain to Dusseldorf, Germany, when it disappeared from radar in the Alpes de Hautes Provence.A total of 142 passengers, two pilots and four cabin crew, were on board the plane..


The flight was midway to their destination when it came down..Search and rescue efforts are unclear at the moment but the first debris has been spotted…


The French president says there are little chances of survivors .The plane dropped from 38 thousand feet to 24 thousand feet in 7 minutes,before disappearing from radar..

Photos: Thugs loyal to PDP allegedly attack APC chieftain in Gombe


APC Chairman in Gombe Local Government, Alh. Ibrahim Musa pictured above, was attacked by armed youths alleged to be PDP members at his home this evening. According to reports, Alhaji Musa was one of the party officials that received Gen Buhari in Bauchi state today. On his way home after the campaign rally, he said he met some youths who were fighting and intervened. He said after mediating, he went home to rest only to be attacked by one of the youths at his home.
