Photos: Young Man Commits Suicide After Telling Friends On Facebook He Was Going To Take His Life But They Laughed It Off As A Bad Joke

A Zambian young man identified as Mpanjilwa Mulwanda hanged himself on July 24.  His death is currently trending on Zambia SocialMedia.

According to multiple Facebook sources,  during a chat with his friends on Friday, July 21, he made it known that he was going to take his life but they all laughed it off. Infact some even encouraged him to do it.

“I never knew Mpanjilwa Mulwanda personally but after learning what transpired, seemed he mentioned taking his life to his friends who took it as a joke & probably never talked him out as much as they should have. I know how friendship is but anyway, one thing this has personally taught me is we should learn to encourage love amongst ourselves.
You never know what people are going through & just a few encouraging words from you could be what would stop someone from doing something unimaginable, we really need more wise & encouraging people for a better tomorrow . It’s so unfortunate the brother is gone & nothing can be done about that but we can definitely avoid more incidents like this by loving one another more than expressing hate all in trying to seem like a star. R.I.P Mpanjilwa”

Do people a favor- arrest and question all those kids who were pushing their friend to commit suicide. They are as guilty as someone charged with 2nd degree murder. It’s high time Zambians learned limits to conversation”

Former Priest Convicted Of Child Rape Set To Leave Prison After 12 Years Behind Bars

Paul Shanley, a former US Roman Catholic priest is set to be released from prison 12 years after his conviction on child rape charges.

He was among the first clergymen to stand trial after the Boston Globe’s Spotlight team found allegations against priests of serial child sexual abuse and coverups by the Boston Archdiocese.

The scandal rocked through the church, exposing similar allegations worldwide that compromised its moral authority and led to years of multimillion-dollar settlements.

Shanley was 74 years old when a Middlesex County jury convicted him in 2005 of repeatedly raping a boy from his parish in the 1980s. His victim, who was 27 years old during the trial, testified that Shanley regularly pulled him out of Sunday catechism class for what he called “special duties” and molested him in various rooms of St. John the Evangelist, a defunct parish in the Boston suburb of Newton.

Now 86, Shanley is scheduled to be released from prison and begin 10 years of supervised probation.

Photos: Man Stabs Transgender 119 Times After She Confessed She Was Born A Man Minutes After Sex

An ex-sailor fatally stabbed a transgender woman 119 times with a 10-inch blade minutes after they had sex – because she confessed she was born a man.

Dwanya Hickerson butchered Dee Whigham after ‘losing it’ at a hotel room in Mississippi, US.

An autopsy showed many of the stab wounds were to Dee’s face. Her throat was had also been slashed three times, The Sun Herald reports

Hickerson was arrested on Keesler Air Force Base two days after killing the nurse at a Best Western Hotel.

A court heard the pair had met up to have sex after talking online for a couple of months.

Hickerson admitted murdering Dee. He said he flew into a rage after the pair had sex and then she revealed she had been born a man.

“I lost. I lost it,” he told the court.

Photos: Police Stops Wedding Between 5-Year Old Girl And 22-Year Old Man

Police raided a wedding between a 22-year-old man and a five-year-old girl – but were too late to stop it.

Officers swooped on the man and others involved in the celebrations in the village of Raman Shar in Dakhan Town, Pakistan.

However, police are said to have been moments too late to the event and the nuptials had already been completed and concluded.

Those arrested include the groom Habibullah Shar, the registrar Molvi Kifayatullah Bhutto, 40, and the father of the groom Gul Meer.

The little bride was also taken into custody along with her mother, Pakistani newspaper Dawn reports .

Photos: Man Slits Wife’s Neck Because She Wanted To Travel To The US To Study

A woman is recovering in the hospital after her husband slashed her neck because she wanted to travel abroad for a nursing course.

Ms Olivia Nangonzi had been enrolled by her parents to study nursing in the US and when she informed her husband Musa Kisakye, he became upset and attacked her. Musa, a boda boda operator (bicycle taxi rider), cut Nangonzi’s neck with a knife then turned the knife on himself and sliced his neck.

Nangonzi is recovering in Namirembe Hospital in Mukono town while Musa is in a critical condition at Kawolo Hospital.

The couple, who are blessed with a child, got married three years ago and live in Makata, Nakisunga Sub-county, Mukono District.

Speaking to journalists from her hospital bed, Nangonzi said: “He thought he had killed me. Actually, I was too weak and I could not scream.  That’s when he also cut himself in his neck.”

She continued: “I was preparing to set off to America this very week. Unfortunately, my husband wanted to kill me claiming that he wanted me to (stay) at home without upgrading (my skills).”

Mr Rogers Seguya, the Mukono Police District commander, said if Kisakye recovers, he would be charged with attempted murder.

Breaking News: President Donald Trump Announces A Ban Of Transgender Individuals From Serving In The U.S. Military

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he plans to reinstate a ban on transgender individuals from serving “in any capacity” in the US armed forces.

The decision reversed a policy initially approved by the Defense Department under President Barack Obama, which was still under final review, that would allow transgender individuals to openly serve in the military. Defense Secretary James Mattis announced last month that he was delaying enactment of the plan to begin allowing transgender individuals to join the US military.
“After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military,” Trump said in a series of tweets Wednesday morning. “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.”
“Thank you,” he added.
