Photo: India Narcotics Bureau Nabs Nigerian Man With 415Gram Of Heroin

A Nigerian national has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Chandigarh Zonal Unit for drug trafficking.
The suspect, Eze Uchenna James, a resident of New Delhi, was arrested with 415 gram Heroin, near Mela Ground in Sector 17 late Wednesday evening, June 7th.
NCB said that the accused had kept contraband inside a brown small bag.

James was visiting Chandigarh for the third time to supply Heroin. His drug operations were spread around Chandigarh, Pinjore and Panchkula.

Preliminary investigations also revealed that his friend, Refel, was also arrested by Sirsa Police, Haryana in a drug traffic.

Man Who Disguised As Girl And Was Caught Attempting To Write O’level Exams For His Girlfriend Confesses

A 26 year old Zimbabwean man was caught while writing exams for his wife, Mrs. Mbango, during the final grade 12 exams. Mkonzi Mbango was dragged out of the exam room after people spread news that he was pretending to be a woman .
Mr. Mbango said he thought of helping his wife to pass the exams because she has been failing for over four years. He has since been arrested. His wife said she regretted the action taken by her husband, adding that they both agreed to cheat. The wife has also been arrested.

The video of the robbery attack on Wednesday, February 23, 2017, at Zenith Bank, Owerri, Imo state, that left 5 people dead and several injured, has been released. .

The robbers had trailed a customer who came in to deposit a huge sum of money to the Zenith bank branch located along Wetheral Road, opposite Dan Anyiam Stadium in the city. .

Out of the five people who lost their lives was one of the robbers, 3 bank security agents and the customer who was trailed to the bank, seven other people were injured in the crossfire. The kingpin Justice Ogbonna, aka, JJ, was later arrested during his father’s burial, alongside the driver, Okechukwu Onwuamaegbu.

There’s a kind of virtual war going on across all social media platforms available toNigerians, especially on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It began after a guy on Facebook called Ben Victor, who also owns a Facebook group called Ila Otu, shared a request on his wall from one of his readers.

 

Ben posted that the reader who has been abroad for a while and recently returned to Nigeria is suspicious that his wife might not have been faithful to him all the years he’s been away and as such, he wants to carry out a DNA test on all his kids to ascertain their paternity and he was asking to be referred to a good hospital. When the post was shared, it rubbed a few people the wrong way because they felt he had no right to conduct a DNA test without his wife’s knowledge, especially considering that he left her lonely for years and he was most likely not 100% faithful to her while he was away.

Soon after he shared the post, Ben got a threat from a female reader who cautioned him against bringing up the DNA test issue and warned him that he was going to destroy a lot of marriages if he continues advising men to test their kids. This led to a lot of arguments; some in support of men taking all their kids for DNA test because a lot of women are no longer faithful. There were those who were against the test and the drama has been going on since last night till now.

The originator of the DNA drama received a lot of antagonisms and his group, Ila Otu, was reported to Facebook and has now been taken down.

Meanwhile, one particular post arguing against the DNA test is from a Facebook user called Mama Denzel. She wrote that if a man requests to carry out a DNA test on your kids and you know he isn’t their father, the next course of action should be to kill him. Another user wrote that it is illegal to conduct a DNA paternity test on your child/children without the consent of your partner according to the Human tissue act of 2004 (UK).

Mozambique Are Ritual Killing Bald Men, Because Of A Belief That Their Head Contains Gold

Bald men in Mozambique could be targets of ritual attacks, police have warned, after the recent killing of five men for their body parts. Two suspects have been arrested in the central district of Milange, where the killings occurred.

“The belief is that the head of a bald man contains gold,” said Afonso Dias, a police commander in Mozambique’s central Zambezia province. Albino people have also been killed in the region for ritual purposes. Three men have been killed in the past week alone.

The BBC’s Jose Tembe in the capital, Maputo, says police think the notion of a bald head containing gold is a ruse by witchdoctors to get clients to take a person’s head to them. .

“Their motive comes from superstition and culture – the local community thinks bald individuals are rich,” Commander Dias is reported as having told a press conference in Maputo. The suspects are two young Mozambicans aged around 20, the AFP news agency reports.

A regional security spokesman, Miguel Caetano, told AFP that one of the victims had his head cut off and his organs removed. The organs were to be used in rituals to advance the wealth of clients in Tanzania and Malawi, Mr Caetano said, citing the suspects.

38-year-old man, identified as Ajibade Rasheed, who was found with fresh human parts in Osogbo, Osun State have been arrested by the police.

A fresh head of a woman, vagina, liver, lungs and a bottle containing blood were recovered in the suspect’s car with registration number, LSD 987 DJ.

While parading the suspect, the osun state commissioner of Police, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye said the suspect was caught at Olu-Ode area and confirmed that investigations has commenced to identify the victim.

3 Months Ultimatum: “Don’t Undermine This Declaration” – Arewa Group Fumes

The Coalition of Northern Youths have given three months quit notice to all Igbos residing in the North to leave the region. .

This was even as it urged all Northerners living in the south-eastern states to leave the region and return to their respective states. .

In a press conference held at Arewa House Kaduna on Tuesday, the representative of the coalition, Alhaji Abdulaziz Suleiman of the Northern Emancipation Network said all Northern civil society and pressure groups are by this declaration mandated to mobilize for sustained and coordinated campaigns at their respective states. .

They should mount pressure on Government Houses, State Houses of Assembly, Local Government Council secretariats and traditional palaces for steps to be taken to ensure enforcement of the directives. .

“We are hereby placing the Nigerian authorities and the entire nation on notice, that as from the 1st October, 2017, we shall commence the implementation of visible actions to prove to the whole world that we are no longer part of any federal union that should do with the Igbos.

From that date, effective, peaceful and safe mop-up of all the remnants of the stubborn Igbos that neglect to heed this quit notice shall commence to finally eject them from every part of the North.

And finally, all authorities, individuals or groups are hereby advised against attempting to undermine this declaration by insisting on this union with the Igbos who have thus far proved to be an unnecessary baggage carried too far and for too long.”

Findings by Tribune revealed that signatories to the declaration were Arewa Citizens Action for Change, Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, Arewa Youth Development Foundation, and Arewa Students Forum. Others were Northern Emancipation Network, Northern Youth Vanguard, Northern Youths Stakeholders Forum and North-east Assembly.
