Handsome, Nollywood actor, Leo Mezie has shared the story of his miraculous recovery from a Kidney ailment he suffered few months ago.

The movie star said his rapid recovery has compelled him to believe Jesus Christ more than he previously did. “I had thought that I would die,” Mezie told Allure Vanguard during a press briefing held on Tuesday at Ojez Bar, Surulere, Lagos.

“I don’t know why Jesus chose to give me a second chance, but I believe it’s to serve him, and this time around in everything I do.

At a point, I was ready to die. I had lost all hopes and was already making plans to return to the village, but God gave me a second chance to life, so that I can win more souls for him with my testimony.

We had concluded plans for a kidney transplant; donor’s treatment, medical bills, compensation and lots more, but God turned my case around.

After series of prayer, the kidneys that were diagnosed and confirmed damaged began to pick up and heal. At the long run, I didn’t have to go through any transplant; the doctors were amazed at the sudden transformation, which could be done by only God,” he said.

The actor also said he had a clergy, Apostle Suleiman Johnson to thank for footing his medical and travel expenses to the United Kingdom health facility, where he had hope to do a transplant.

He also sent out his appreciation to his wife, family members, fans, colleagues, as well as the media for standing by him throughout the trying times.

“My biggest appreciation is to the Almighty God. Despite my sins and shortcomings, he still found me worthy to receive his mercy. Then to Apostle Johnson. The man of God who gave me money and took care of all my medical bills. I’d also like to thank my wife, who stood by me in this challenging time despite all odds. I owe my life to you. To my colleagues, fans and the media, God bless you all,” he added.

Movie Producer Seun Egbegbe was today arraigned at the Magistrate court, Ikeja, Lagos, on a one count charge of theft. He has since been granted 1 Million Naira bail and reportedly smuggled out of the court premises to an unknown location to perfect his bail conditions. Failure to do so and he will be remanded in prison custody.
On Nov 22nd, Egbegbe was arrested at Computer village, Ikeja for allegedly stealing 9 iPhones, and was handed over to the police by the traders. Although Egbegbe released a statement denying the allegations, LIB exclusively confirmed and revealed that after police investigation and two nights in custody, he was charged to court today for stealing.

A visit to computer village where the incident happened will make you discard all the press releases from Seun Egbegbe’s camp. Seun Egbegbe is Toyin Aimakhu’s notorious former lover after she left her husband, Adeniyi Johnson.

You may recall that the relationship was violent with accusation and counter-accusations. Toyin was reported to have fled for her life before Seun came on a video interview after the incident to tell the world that his former mistress cannot find a man who will satisfy her.
This notoriety of Seun Egbegbe is known all over the famous computer village market also. He is said to be extremely influential with Lagos Area boys and had the backing of some unknown godfathers.
This is not the first time Seun has been enmeshed in a case like this but before things could get out of hand, everything got sorted. He has been allegedly involved in many of such cases without repercussions.

“Castigating Administrations Before Yours Is Uncharitable, Fussy And Uninstructive” – Obasanjo Tells Buhari

buh10

Former President Obasanjo Wednesday said it is uncharitable, fussy and uninstructive of this present administration to continuously castigate  the administrations before it. Obasanjo said this while delivering his keynote address at the first Akintola Williams Annual Lecture held in Lagos yesterday November 23rd. He said:

“The blanket adverse comments or castigation of all democratic administrations from 1999 by the present administration is uncharitable, fussy and uninstructive. Politics apart, I strongly believe that there is a distinction between the three previous administrations that it would be unfair to lump them all together.

I understand President Buhari’s frustration on the state of the economy inherited by him. It was the same reason and situation that brought about the cry for change, otherwise, there would be no need for change if it was all nice and rosy. No administration can or should be comfortable with the excruciating pain of debilitating and crushing economy. Businesses are closing, jobs are being lost and people are suffering.

I know that President Buhari has always expressed concern for the plight of the common people but that concern must be translated to workable and result-oriented socio-economic policy and programme that will turn the economy around at the shortest time possible. We cannot continue to do the same thing and expect things to change.

Now that we have had change because the actors and the situation needed to be changed, let us move forward to have progress through a comprehensive economic policy and programme that is intellectually, strategically and philosophically based. It is easier to win an election than to right the wrongs of a badly fouled situation.

When you are outside, what you see and know are nothing compared with the reality. And yet once you are on seat, you have to clear the mess and put the nation on the path of rectitude, development and progress leaving no group or section out of your plan, programme and policy and efforts. The longer it takes, the more intractable the problem may become”he said
