While parading the suspects at the state police command headquarter in Eleweran, Abeokuta, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said both men strangled Oshimodi and sold her head and hands to ritual killers.
Illiyasu said the state Special Anti-Robbery Squad was tipped off about their activities and moved in to arrest the men on November 7, 2016.

Odubela said he sold Amudat’s head to his son, Seun, a herbalist who paid him N3,000, as part payment.
However, Odubela’s wife, Fausat, denied asking her husband to kill her daughter.
Illiyasu said the case was still under investigation, while the corpse of Amudat has been deposited at the morgue of the Ijebu Ode General Hospital.
Fake Spiritualist Dupes Woman Of ₦208,000 After Three Days Of Marathon Sex
A self-professed spiritualist, Lukman Olanrewaju, has been dragged before an Ejogbo Magistrate Court in Lagos state, for allegedly luring and engaging a woman, Adeniran Mutiat Jumoke, on a three-day marathon sex ”deliverance service.”
The accused pretended to be delivering his victim from abject poverty and apart from engaging her in a marathon sex, Olanrewaju also forcefully obtained the sum of N208, 000 from her before letting her go.
It all started when Olanrenwaju met Jumoke who complained she was not doing well and needed spiritual assistance to uplift her to success.
The 35-year old fake spiritualist then promised to assist her but asked her to pay the said amount.
According to him, the money would be used to buy some materials for special prayers.
The Oyo State-born also told her that she will subsequently embark on spiritual deliverance which involves doing ‘things extraordinarily.’
The accused informed her that he will engage her sexually for three days and thereafter, perform other rituals after which she will become rich at a certain period.

Things went out of hand after she gave him the money and did other things he requested including sleeping with her for three days but there was no improvement.

It dawned on her it was all a scam after she decided to to return to the ‘spiritualist’ but met the house evacuated.
Jumoke, however, reported the matter at Idimu Police Division, which led to Olanrewaju’s arrest.
He confessed to have defrauded her as he had no such power to cure poverty.
Olanrewaju was subsequently charged with conspiracy, sexual assault and stealing before the presiding Magistrate, Mr. A.A. Fashola on Monday.
In his ruling, Fashola granted Olanrewaju bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two sureties in like sum, ordering that he be remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.

Man Beats Up His Wife Mercilessly After She Invested Their Entire Family Savings In MMM
A housewife, identified as Mrs. Ogenyi, has been beaten to stupor by her angry husband for allegedly investing the family’s saving in Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox, otherwise known as MMM.
DAILY POST gathered that problem ensued between the couple, who resides on Balogun Street, Iyana Ipaja area of Lagos Sunday afternoon, after the husband returned from a trip to his hometown in Benue and discovered that the family saving box was missing.
On inquiry from his son, Oche, the father was informed that the mother went out with her friend around 4pm and had not returned.
The husband who works as a driver with one of the commercial transport companies later found the saving box broken and empty in the wardrobe.
A co-tenant informed our reporter that on her return, the woman was shocked to see the husband as he was not expected home until month end due to the nature of his job.
According to the eyewitness, the husband inquired to know who broke the saving box but the wife could not give him any satisfactory answer.
“When the husband threatened to beat the wife if she fails to tell him who broke the box, she accepted breaking the box and investing the money into MMM. She thought she could get 30 per cent of her income and replace the money before the husband could return,” the source said.
The source said the husband had saved the money, over N86, 000, for their new accommodation.
Angered by her action, the husband descended on the wife in commando style, beating her blue black.
All her efforts to explain to the husband that the money would yield income in the next 30 days fell on deaf ears as the husband insisted she must cough out the money before morning.
The man, who locked the door of their one room apartment to prevent sympatisers from rescuing the helpless woman eventually hit the woman with breakable plate and she collapsed.
The source said on realizing his wife was unconscious, he quickly ran out of the room, living the woman and their three-year-old son and fled to unknown destination.
The neighbours took her to the hospital where she is currently battling for her life.
Our reporter contacted the Lagos State PPRO, Dolapo Badmus, for her reaction.
She has not responded to a text message as the time of filing this report.
Recall that the House of Representatives had last week directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, to immediately go after the promoters of the MMM.

9 Reasons Women Stay With Cheating Husbands
Janet and her two children kept cuddling on the bed while her husband’s phone rang for the seventh time in five minutes. It was a Saturday afternoon.
Soon enough, the sound became “deafening” and she had to answer the call to tell the person to call back in few minutes when he would have finished in the bathroom.
“The contact of the person calling was saved as ‘James office’ so I felt the person should be one of his colleagues and so I didn’t hesitate to use ‘sir’ when I answered the call, but I was surprised to hear a female voice,” she recalled.
Notably, that call did not only open Janet’s eyes to the fact that her husband had been cheating on her, she also got to know how long she had been sharing her man with another woman, or even other women in their nine-year-old marriage.
Janet said, “The moment I answered the call, the lady calling screamed in anger even before I could say a word. I think both of them were supposed to be somewhere at that time because my husband was also rushing to go out for an ‘appointment’. She even asked (him) if it was his ‘stupid wife’ that was delaying him. When she finished ranting, having said so many things that left me in shock, I simply asked who she was, and she answered, ‘so what’ and she dropped the call.”
Apparently shocked, Janet said she confronted her husband and that instead of apologising, he was furious and even told her she could pack her things and leave his house if she was no longer comfortable.
She added, “Before then, I had heard him countless times making silent calls and he would always terminate the call once I was approaching, but I didn’t want to assume wrongly, until that day that everything was confirmed.
“He has not changed because I have caught him many times after that. I can’t leave him, because God is against divorce and for the sake of my children.
Even though the relationship is not as exciting as it used to be, the couple are still together and had even had another child after that.
According to findings, being cheated on can be emotionally and psychologically draining, but interestingly, Janet’s experience is representative of what many women go through in marriage. Studies have shown that about 70 per cent of men cheat on their wives and that 17 per cent of divorce cases are caused by infidelity.
But, beyond religious teachings that admonish people to stay in marriage ‘for better, for worse,’ it would be interesting to know the reasons women stay with cheating spouses:
