Over 100 Abducted Chibok Girls Are Unwilling To Leave Their Boko Haram Husbands And Return Home – New Report Claims

Following the release of 21 out of the over 200 Chibok girls in the penultimate week, the Nigerian Government are negotiating the release of another 83 girls.

But sadly, more than 100 others appear unwilling to leave their Boko Haram Islamic extremist captors, a community leader said on Tuesday.

According to AP, the unwilling girls may have been radicalized by Boko Haram or are ashamed to return home because they were forced to marry extremists and have babies, chairman Pogu Bitrus of the Chibok Development Association said.

The high-tech kicks are made from Italian white leather – to match Virgin America’s first class seats – with a stainless steel seat buckle around the ankle. A rechargeable battery powers built-in mood lighting, a USB phone charger, a video display and a Wi-Fi-enabled hotspot (data plan not included).

The shoes which also feature LED moodlighting, a working airplane belt buckle, a USB port connected to a three-hour battery, and even a tiny LCD display for watching movies, is currently just one pair in existence which is being auctioned on eBay at for charity with the proceeds going to Soles4Souls, an organisation focused on distributing clothing and shoes to the poor.

Mike McKay, chief creative officer at Eleven, told Creativity Online: “Virgin America fliers are fashionable, sophisticated, and almost impossible to reach with traditional advertising. But we knew sneaker trends were very popular with our target audience.

 

“So we wanted to showcase the airline’s features in a unique way – so our target would actually take notice.”

Right now am in relationship with one of d Muslim guy, we’ve dated before we had issue so we broke up and now we r back together and he wants to settle down with me, yes of course this guy is not giving me all that I want but he is trying, he gets pissed @ me when am wrong, apologize when he is wrong, he is very hard working, he encourage me to be independent, he is even trying to fix me(business wise), I am not saying he is perfect but he is trying to be a perfectionist, with him I can feel a true relationship.

Personally I don’t have any issue getting married to him,thou he as made his intentions clear that he won’t allow me go to church, and I have concluded within me that I Will change to his religion(I didn’t tell him this) as far as I am concern we are good to go but I don’t think my family will b in support because he is a Muslim.

Ladies just love hair extensions, and the more expensive they are like, Brazilian (human) hair, the more prestigious it makes the wearers feel.

It is therefore very important that users of hair extensions are educated on where these hairs really come from. Though some hair extensions come from animals and others are synthetic, a lot of the higher-end hair extensions from companies such as Great Lengths, actually come from religious temples in India.

According to the documentary “Hair India,” Hindu pilgrims have donated their hair at holy temples throughout Southern India for centuries in an attempt to purify themselves and repay debt to their Hindu gods.

When companies buy hair from the temple for as much as $700 per pound, it contains sweat, blood, and lice.

At the temple, some 650 barbers sit in lines on the concrete floor and tie the women’s hair into ponytails before cutting it off. Once the large portions of hair are removed, the barbers use a razor to shave each pilgrims head, before dousing their head with water to wash away any blood.

Once hair is collected, bought by companies, it’s transported (rolled up in huge bales like hay) by road and plane to factories, and distributed to workers as many as 350 per site to be processed.

There’s a lot of secrecy in the trade. Obtaining hair is not easy, and there’s a risk of it being stolen while in transit.

‘Hair is worth a lot of money it’s known in the industry as “black gold”.’

The first stage in the extension making process is to separate each hair, with women in a factory in China, pictured, taking on the painfully slow and poorly paid job.

The next part is soaking the hair. The cheaper waste is soaked in acid to remove germs.

High- quality hair is placed in an osmosis bath, the exact composition of which is a closely guarded secret.

A mixture of chemicals slowly removes dark pigments without damaging the cuticles (the outer part of the hair shaft), which would otherwise leave it dry and brittle.

The locks, pictured, are then soaked in a mixture of chemicals making them shiny, elastic and ready to be dyed, with up to 20 days needed to achieve the right colour.

Finally they end up in salons all over the world. In Britain, pictured, the average client can pay between £790 and £1,200 for them depending on length and volume.

The police in Lagos State have arrested a man, identified only as Nathaniel, for allegedly drugging and raping his 14-year-old housemaid in the Ikotun area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Nathaniel, who stayed on Ajisegiri Street, in the Egbe area, was arrested by the Ikotun Police Division on Sunday.

It was gathered that the suspect allegedly lured his housemaid, Chinwe (pseudonym), with a cup of juice penultimate Monday, which contained a sedative.

The two persons were reportedly alone in the apartment on the day.

The victim, who is an orphan, was brought from a village in the south eastern part of Nigeria to work in Nathaniel’s house.

It was said that when she woke up, she found that she was Unclad.

She also reportedly found Fluid in her private parts.

Our correspondent gathered that after the incident, Chinwe fled the house, dropping a letter for the suspect’s wife to intimate her on the sexual abuse she (Chinwe) had allegedly suffered.

It was learnt that the teenager also confided in a neighbour, who is a pastor in the area.

The pastor was said to have informed a child rights’ organisation, which in turn reported at a police station.

In the letter obtained by PUNCH Metro, Chinwe wrote that she did not want to return to the house as she was fed up with sexual abuses allegedly by Nathaniel.

She said, “Dear aunty, I want to go. I am suffering here. Look at what your husband has been doing to me. The last time that he did it, he gave me a drink and I did not know that he purposely gave me that drink so that I could fall asleep.

“It was when I woke up that I now found myself Unclad. I now saw white thing on my laps. This is what he was doing to me the other time that I told you that I wanted to go. I do not want to cause trouble for you. Please, call my brother to come and take me away. I want to go and I do not want to stay here again.”

A source with the Child Protection Network, where the pastor reported the case, said, “The man is over 40 years old. He employed the victim as a domestic help.

“He had been sexually abusing the 14-year-old victim. On that Monday, he drugged her juice. That day was a public holiday. When she slept off, he raped her.

“She ran away from the house, because she did not want trouble for the man’s wife. Nathaniel has been arrested by the police. The Family Support Unit of the police is handling the matter.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed Nathaniel’s arrest.

She said, “The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, has directed that the case be charged to court.”
