“I Am Scared Of Marriage” – 33years Old Nollywood Actress Ebube Nwagbo Reveals
The stunning Nollywood actress, who has some fans drooling over her slim body with others criticising her says she scared of marriage.
Her reason why?! She spoke to Star gist in a recent interview that it’s because of the high cases of divorces in the movie industry.
She’s quoted as saying:
I am scared of marriage, we see divorce everyday. Although no one goes into marriage believing she would soon jump out of it.
I strongly believe that before a couple considers divorce, they must have put in their best to make it work, all to no avail. Marriage in the limelight is not easy, even those outside it are not surviving easily.
“For me, before I take the decision, it just has to be right.
“Marriage is always going to be at the right time, and don’t ask me when is the right time. I’m single but I’m not searching, Why would I?
“Well, I am seeing somebody, but starting my own family I can’t say for now. But I will do that at the right time.
“I don’t like doing something and later jump out of it. I take my time to do whatsoever I want to do making sure it is the right decision.
I have learnt a lot from other people’s mistake and that has helped me a lot.
Being in a relationship alone is not easy not to mention marriage, I just want to do it right to avoid regret. So I am treading carefully.

Religious Crisis: All The People Burnt To Death Were Muslims – Zamfara State Governor
While condemning the religious crisis that broke out in the Abdu Gusau Polytechnic in Talata Mafara in the state on Tuesday which resulted in the death of eight people, the state governor, Abdulaziz Yari, yesterday disclosed that all those killed during the attack were Muslims.
Narrating what led to the attack to state House corespondents after his meeting with President Buhari yesterday August 24th, Governor said:
“From the intelligence I heard from the security agencies, there was a fight between two students and I think one of them injured the other and started shouting that the other person abused Prophet Muhammed. Other students came and beat the other boy who is Yoruba and from Kogi State. Some people are saying he was a Muslim and some say the boy was a Christian. They beat the student until he collapsed and thought he was dead. Then security personnel requested help from one shop owner who then took the boy to the hospital in his car. When the students heard that the boy was still alive and in the hospital, they went to the hospital. But the boy was rescued by the army in the hospital.
Then the students went back to the polytechnic and burnt down the shop of the person who gave his car to rescue the boy. They went back to town again and as you know the police in the division don’t have enough men to contain the riot and before reinforcement came, the crowd threw tyre in the man’s house and burnt the house down. That was how everybody in the house was killed and everybody killed in the House were Muslims and not like the rumours going around in the social media that Christians are being killed in Zamfara.
Infact the mob wanted to go and burn churches and attack non- Muslims but the security forces stopped them. It’s my home town and that’s where I live.”
“I Refused To Wear Makeup On My Wedding Day Cos When My Husband First Met Me, I Had Not Had My Bath” – Viral Bride
Remember woman who went viral for going all natural on her wedding day?
Well, it has been discovered that Bisola Umoren is not just a Nigerian, but a Lagos State born bride who shook social media with her daring no-make-up wedding looks.
Speaking on the reasons for her decision, she said:
“When my husband first met me, I had not had my bath, but he saw and fell in love with my natural look. My hair was due, my face looked way older, I was even tying nylon on my hair when he came to me on that fateful morning, yet he loved what he saw. So, who am I supposed to be making all that up for on my wedding day?
So, that was it. I think God just decided to crown me with early morning beauty the day I wedded.
Interestingly, the photographer and the make-up person, were insisting that I should touch up my face a little but I blatantly refused. In the process, a marriage committee member overheard us and warned that make-up is not allowed inside the Church; Christ Apostolic Church, Surulere.Secondly, For a good start, I’m not the make-up type. I don’t even wear ear-rings or like to drop my hair. I don’t like any form of inconvenience or discomfort on my face, my neck and entire body.
It is not a church thing, it is just me and my personal decision. I can do makeup if I want to. In fact, during my engagement in April, I was so pressured to have makeup on. They convinced me that it was going to be nude. I agreed and went for it. Lo and behold, when they were done, I hated myself because I looked so unlike my usual self. I looked darker and older. The whole engagement pictures were nothing to write home about.”
On why people concluded that she is Ghanaian:
“Well, I can’t really say. My Facebook page has people around the world visiting and reading my stories. I guess one particular Ghanaian guy, picked it up also and posted on his twitter page, asking if ladies can actually do what I did by wearing a natural look on a wedding day.
His post also went viral and I guess, that was where bloggers picked it from and assumed that I am a Ghanaian. It was very controversial as I kept receiving all kinds of calls, some condemning me, some applauding, some questioning, I was just pissed at a point.”
Her love story:
We met last year, December 16, 2015 after I was robbed besides Abiola Garden, Lagos at about 9am.
The robbery was a horrible experience; I lost my Blackberry phone, tab and some money. Thankfully, I wasn’t raped but sustained minor injuries. A close friend then volunteered to come help me massage my leg when he heard what happened to me.
When he was coming that morning, he came with his long time friend (who is now my husband). When I first saw them, I almost refused to open the door, because it was quite early and I wasn’t expecting two visitors (one stranger at that time).
Well, I later had to open the door and that was it. After the first visit, he (my husband), came back alone on December 26, to see me and that was how our relationship started.
Few weeks later, he proposed because he was scared that if he wasted more time, another man would take over. (laughs).
We had our court registry in February 2016, barely three months after we met.
First attraction:
“Well, I like his height. I am not on the tall side, so he compliments me. I like tall guys; nothing less than 6 ft. He is also chubby. He is very caring. He showered me with his love and care that I had no choice but to succumb. But his tribe was almost a barrier for us; he is from Akwa-Ibom while I’m from Lagos State.”

Biafra Crumbles? A New Breakaway Faction, TRIPOB, To Burn Biafra Flag
What is going on? The Rebranded Indigenous People of Biafra (TRIPOB), a breakaway group from the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Kanu, has picked October 1, Independence Day in Nigeria, to publicly denounce Biafra Republic and burn its flag.
Chima ‘Phillip Effiong’ Osuji, who released a statement on behalf of the group on Wednesday, the decision was taken on Monday after an emergency meeting of “disaffected” IPOB members.
TRIPOB said it now sees Biafra “from a different perspective”. Read the full Statement:
At an emergency meeting convened by some disaffected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Monday, August 22, 2016 in Aba, Abia state, it was resolved that due to the rigid and fatalistic position of the Nnamdi Kanu led IPOB, several of us with like minds shall breakaway and form The Rebranded Indigenous People of Biafra or TRIPOB.
TRIPOB now sees the Biafra question from a different perspective. Biafra will now become to us a powerful metaphor for change, development and greatness of the Igbos inside a united Nigeria, where the South East axis will be a utopia from the sheer determination borne out of the Biafra metaphor.
We believe in being a part of a united Nigeria, and a new way of thinking, where the victim mentality will no longer be acceptable.
We have accepted the fact that the Biafra Republic is not a reality but an anachronism, and doubt that the South South region will become a part of a Biafra Republic, except by force; after a declaration of another civil war.
That the lessons and history of the civil war will only reinforce the belief in ourselves to reach the zenith in this great country, Nigeria, where opportunities abound for every one regardless of tribe or religion, and even where such narrow sentiments exists, we will not see ourselves as victims. Never!
In view of this new mindset, members of the TRIPOB and any new defectors will on October 1, 2016 make a public denunciation of a
Seccesionist Biafra Republic at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
The event will also include recitation of the Pledge to Nigeria our Country, singing of the National anthem, followed by a solemn burning of the Biafra flag and unveiling a new Biafra flag representing pride, change, potential and spirit of the Igbo race which can thrive any where in the world.
Long live the Biafra Spirit! Igbo…Kwenu!!!
Rebranded Indigenous People of Biafra
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Nigeria…Kwenu!!!
