Non-indigenes in Lagos must respect their hosts - Oba of Lagos
In an exclusive interview with Punch, the Oba of Lagos, Riliwanu Akiolu, says there is a need for non-indigenes in Lagos State to respect the tradition and culture of their host.
“Eze Odimegwu, who is a former CEO of Nigerian Breweries, is still my best friend as well as many others. The Obi of Onitsha came to visit me here a few days ago. When you go to a place, you have to respect the host leaders, particularly the traditional leaders there because you are coming to benefit from their success. The people of Lagos are the friendliest and most accommodating people in Nigeria.”
He said the video which showed him issuing threats to Igbo leaders was a misrepresentation of what truly transpired. He said the issue was twisted by those who wanted to gain political advantage ahead of the governorship election but God put them to shame.
Source: Punch“Those who orchestrated the entire incident know themselves and I tell you, those (Igbo leaders) who came here on that day understand me a lot and have even been coming since then,” he said.

General Medical Checkup
Nigeria can be very stressful at times and between the traffic, petrol queues and long work hours it is easy to forget to monitor your health. Take Mr. Theo for example, he was a prominent business man who kept putting off a trip to the doctor. In fact it had been 7 years since his last general medical checkup .One night, after a long and stressful week he finally got a chance to sleep properly. Sadly Mr. Theo never woke up again, leaving behind his wife and children.
Like Mr. Theo, many of us go years without a comprehensive medical checkup.Although Men have always seemed reluctant to pay a visit to the doctor, getting a regular physical exam, or checkup, is a sure way to prevent health problems before they develop into serious health issues and cut your life short. Even in the absence of symptoms, many physicians recommend routine, yearly doctor visits and physicals for males of all ages. The idea that medical checkups are only for the elderly is wrong, even Men in their 30s may die untimelywithout ever knowing they were ill.
Regular general medical checkups will help in the early detection of conditions such as Hypertension, Diabetes, Prostrate Cancer, Kidney Disease and other ailments common amongst men. In most cases, early detection is the key as it will allow for lifestyle changes to be made early enough, this will allow for living a longer and healthier life.
At Mens Clinic we conduct general medical check-ups and our doctors will provide advice to help you stay healthy and live a happy life.

ISIS sets ‘honey traps’ to ensnare and execute homosexuals
In its crusade against homosexuals, the Islamic State is now resorting to sting operations, using jihadists posing as gay men to coax out offenders and execute them.
According to reports, a special unit of militia has been formed within ISIS to deal specifically with the eradication of homosexuals from Syria, Iraq and Libya.
One method employed is for militiamen of the Caliphate to send anonymous invitations for blind dates for men only; those who respond are summarily executed.
According to dissident groups working in the area, ISIS religious police have also begun pretending to be gay men in order to ferret others out, before arresting and executing them.
The ISIS regime views sodomy as the most deplorable practice, one punishable by death.
The terrorist group has already published a series of graphic videos showing the murder of supposed gay men, who are often thrown from tall buildings and stoned to death.
Some clips show large crowds gathered to watch the executions and pelt the men with stones.
