Facebook drama between a woman, her boyfriend and her friend

Lol. This is just a random Facebook drama that happened today that I stumbled upon and found interesting. So a lady named Ovedje Blessing posted a photo of herself and her longtime boyfriend named Henry Emeka on her Facebook page. Her friend named Grace Adaobi Oraneli saw the pic and had something to say about it. She apparently thinks her friend Ovedje is wasting her time with the Emeka dude who has refused to put a ring on it. Ovedje and Henry respond to Grace. Grace attacks Henry..lol. See the rest after the cut...

Doyin Okupe congratulates Gen Buhari, says PDP will rise again

He shared his congratulatory message to Gen Buhari on his Facebook page. Read below...

It has pleased the Almighty God to give victory to Gen Mohammed Buhari, the Presidential candidate of the APC and the President elect.

We accept this as the Will of God and I personally congratulate the general for his success. We have ran a good race and fought a gallant battle. We are bowed but not cowed. We lost the crown but we gained a trophy.

The PDP family must not despair; If it took general Buhari 30 yrs to come back to power, it should take us much less.

For the opportunities we have had we give God All the Glory.

To millions of our supporters we say thanks

To those who are our adversaries, the battle has been fought, and it has been won & lost

The strife is over for the next 4 yrs ONLY.

We rejoice with APC & the people of Nigeria

on the progress we have jointly made in our democratic journey. For our democracy to endure it is important that the winner clearly emerges while the loser concedes with equanimity.

Certainly we will be back. We will overcome this defeat and rise again to power and glory

In a twinkle of an eye.

God bless Nigeria

South East loses out in producing Nigeria's next Senate President

According to political analysts, the South East has lost the opportunity of producing the next Senate President or the Speaker of the House of Representative in the Gen Buhari-led administration come May 29th. According to political calculations, anyone who is to occupy these positions must come from the ruling party. Since the number one and two positions have already been taken by Gen Buhari a Hausa man and Prof Osinbajo, a Yoruba man, the Ibos were favored to produce the third key official, the Senate President.

But with all the 15 senatorial seats in the South East states of Anambra, Abia, Imo, Enugu & Ebonyi won by the PDP in last week's elections, the Ibos may have lost out in producing the next Senate president. Senator Chris Ngige representing Anambra Central senatorial district who many believe was being positioned by the APC to be the next Senate President lost his bid to return to the Senate to PDP's Uche Ekwunife.
