Cynthia Morgan replies Queen Ure after she gets a court order stopping her from using 'Popori'

Some of may have heard this story but just in case you haven't, let me tell y'all what's going on. Pastor turned singer Queen Ure Okezie (who came into prominence with her relationship with singer Soul E), took Northside First Lady, Cynthia Morgan to court in Dec. 2014 for allegedly infringing on her copyright with the song, ‘Popori’. Queen Ure claims 'Popori', which is the title of her album and a song, is her copyright. She claims she had the sound recording registered at the Nigerian Copyright Commission and a copyright certificate was issued to her in 2013. Fast forward to November 2014, and Cynthia Morgan released a song titled 'Porpori'. Queen Ure went to court and managed to get a court order to stop Cynthia Morgan from using the word 'Popori' as a title to her single.

Cynthia just came for Queen Ure on her instagram page. See what she wrote after the cut...

Our Party is full of injustice, says PDP chairman Mu’azu

Our Party is full of injustice, says PDP chairman Mu'azu

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, came hard on the political party on Tuesday, saying it was “full of injustice.”

He said this was one of the main reason some PDP members defected to opposition political parties like the All Progressives Congress, Labour Party, etc.

Mu’azu gave the shocking verdict at inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation in Abuja.

Mu’azu, who got a standing ovation for his boldness, turned to Jonathan and said: “Mr. President, I want you to discuss with your governors, senators, members of the House of Representatives and other elected officials.

“Members of the PDP should not be used and dumped again. People leave the party because of lack of equity or injustice.

“Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop. That must stop. This time round, monkey must work and monkey must eat…

“A lot of people who left (our party) did so because of injustice in our party. The party is full of injustice. The membership of the APC, LP, APGA and others are increasing because of this. All these members are from our party. We must find out what is wrong and correct it.”

As soon as he said this, the gathering stood up and clapped for him.

The event, which was held at the Legacy Building in Abuja was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan, a few governors and members of the National Working Committee of the party.
