The Nigerian army say they are not with Gen. Buhari's certificate

A few days ago, APC Presidential candidate, Buhari said he could not tender any of his academic certificates before INEC because they were all with the Military board and not at his disposal. (read here). Well, now the army has contradicted that claim, saying the do not keep the certificates of any serving or retired officer or soldier.

A military source told Vanguard;

"The Army can not keep anybody’s original certificate because it is the personal property of the owner. The original certificate of any officer or soldier is only needed at the point of entry into the service either as a cadet officer entering the Nigerian Defence Academy, or the recruitment officers when interviewing recruits to be sent to the depot for training. That is so, because they are needed to verify what were in the photocopies supplied by them or from the necessary examining bodies.”

"Let me tell you now, in the Navy, the Navy Secretary, keep the documents of all Naval officers and ratings and not their original certificates which are their personal property."

"I have no regret leaving my marriage but I regret not being under a man’s roof. It is not respectable in this part of the world. But I try to comport myself even as a divorced woman and as a typical Yoruba woman and to avoid scandal. I have a daughter to protect and cater for.

What was the cause of your failed marriage?

The marriage was not working so I had to quit. My partner went as far as abusing me so I had to leave to protect myself and my daughter.

You mean domestic violence?

White waiter fired after writing the N-Word on restaurant receipt for 6 black customers

A white waiter in Virginia was fired on January 1st 2015 after he left a racist remark on the receipt of six black restaurant customers.

ABC News Arlington reports

It was supposed to be a night of new memories in a new year with six old friends. “At the end it kinda ruined it for us,” said Ta’les Russell. And what ruined it is spelled out in black and white on paper. “All capital letters, just right there. I just did a double take. I was like, ‘Wow.’ It was just a shock to me,” said Justyce Hill. The word “N—” was typed on receipts to describe six black friends who came to Shatila Lebanese Grill and Hookah for New Year’s celebrations.

"I went to sleep thinking about it; went to sleep upset about it and woke up upset about it,” said Jasmine Tucker. After the group asked their server for separate checks, the server labeled them in the most disgusting way. Hill tells News 8 they tried to confront the busy server. They said they “tried not to make it a big deal.” The friends had just come from a New Year’s Eve church service.

They wanted to celebrate together, but instead they left shocked and disappointed. “Knowing me I would have acted a fool if I didn’t have my head on straight,” said J’Vaughn Flippin.

News 8 sat down with an embarrassed owner of Shatila. "I'm just sorry, man… I'm just sorry," Mike Salame said.

Salame says that server was only there a week. He had already received two complaints and Salame says he was waiting for this third strike. “It’s very very improper. There is no exceptions at all. That’s why when I found out, on the spot, I terminated him…on the spot,” Salame said.
