Bajoga in Gombe state under attack by Boko Haram

Bajoga town in Gombe state is currently under attack by Boko Haram members. According to reports, the militants came into the town in the very early hours of this morning, breaking into homes, shooting at people and blowing up things.



Bajoga is the host community for the Ashaka cement factory where the sect members visited some weeks back, stealing dynamites and other explosives.

Our politics and politicians are hilarious. So a coffin was brought to the PDP national secretariat in Abuja today that sent PDP chairman and other party members running for their lives. LOL



Angry PDP members from Rivers state today staged a weird protest against the leadership of the PDP over the choice of former Education Minister Nyesom Wike as the party's Governorship candidate for River state in the 2015 elections. The protesters who stormed the party secretariat around 6am with the coffin, barricaded the entrance of the secretariat, stopping everyone who worked at the building from gaining entrance. 193 prisoners who escaped during Ekiti prison explosion recaptured

193 prisoners out of the over 300 that escaped during the explosion that rocked the Federal Prison in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital on Sunday November 30th have been recaptured. Confirming their recapture, the state Prison's spokesman, Mr Ope Fatinikun said the chase for other escapees was still on. He urged people in neighboring states of Ondo, Kogi, Edo, Oyo and Kwara to be vigilant as some of the prisoners might want to take refuge in their community.

Transparency International ranks Nigeria 136th most corrupt country in the world

Transparency International has ranked Nigeria the 136th most corrupt country in the world and the 3rd most corrupt country in West Africa after Guinea and Guinea Bissau.



In its 2014 Transparency International Corruption Perception Index released today December 3rd, the group said it ranked 174 countries it surveyed based on how corrupt their public sector is presumed to be. The measurement is based on a scale of 0 to 100 with a score of 0 perceived as "highly corrupt" and 100 "very clean". Nigeria was ranked 136th with an index score of 27.

Rodney Releases Hot New Video for Debut Single, 'Baba Loke’

Naija Street Champ season 1 winner, Rodney Edemhanria also known as‘Rodney the Monster’ has released the most anticipated video for his debut hit single ‘Babaloke’. The video which was shot in Lagos, Nigeriawas directed by Cardoso Imagery was released on Monday December 1.







Cardoso Imagery is also responsible for visuals for hit singles by AY.com, Seriki ft Oritsefemi, Klever Jay ft May D to mention but a few. According to Rodney, the video released on the Unmissable Music record label is a dream come true for his budding music career.



He disclosed that work is currently ongoing on more hit tracks for the airwaves. “I am very excited and proud to announce the release of my first official video for ‘Baba Loke’. While commending Cardozo Imagery for the creativity it brought into the video by interpreting the song perfectly, Rodney stated that the video promises to be one of the best music videos for 2014 especially the ones shot and produced in Nigeria.
