Hope you can still eat after seeing this image of maggots in this woman’s eye

According to a report in a Canadian medical journal, a woman who was sick and was being treated in a Canadian hospital had 120 maggots removed from her eyes and nose after fly laid eggs in her eyes and nose..

"During the period, an adult fly (a green blow fly or a green bottle fly) was seen in the intensive care unit. The patient was in a windowless private room that had an open door. The intensive care unit had no windows to the outdoors; thus, it was assumed that the fly had entered the intensive care unit from another part of the hospital. The fly must have left the eggs in her nose and eyelid."

Doctors removed 120 maggots from her eyes and nose. This happened a long time ago - in 2007 - but the images were recently released. If you have the stomach to look at it, then continue...

Billionaire businessman Kola Aluko buys £2m Ferrari Sergio

Billionaire businessman Kola Aluko has reportedly bought the Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio speedster said to be worth a whooping 2million pounds - that's over N500million. Only six of the cars are being built and all six have already been bought in advance by 'special' customers. Kola Aluko, who is a big player in the oil, gas, and the aviation sector worldwide, is one of them.

See more pics of the car, a report about the car and how six special customers in Europe, America and Asia have snapped it up. It will be delivered to them next year. Not for toddlers...

From Motorauthority.com

One of the standouts of last year’s Geneva Motor Show was the Pininfarina Sergio concept, a wild speedster with a windswept shape and the running gear of a Ferrari 458 Spider. The car was built as a one-off showpiece honoring the late patriarch of the Italian design firm that bears his name and, we’re sure you’ll agree, is the most beautiful of Pininfarina’s creations since its previous one-off Ferrari, the P4/5.

It’s now been confirmed by Ferrari that six examples of the Sergio will be built, but before you grab your phone to place an order take note that all six build slots for the car have been sold. They were snapped up by six of Ferrari’s most loyal customers who were invited by the automaker to place an order, similar to how the ten F60 Americas destined to be built were sold.

Deliveries will take place next year, to locations in the U.S., Europe and Asia. It’s not clear how much the cars cost but Pininfarina CEO Silvio Angori said last year that a production version of the Sergio would cost around 3 million euros ($3.82 million).

Being based on the Ferrari 458 Spider, the Sergio benefits from a 4.5-liter V-8 engine tuned to deliver 562 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels. However, at only 2,822 pounds, the Sergio is around 330 pounds lighter than the 458 Spider, which means it should be considerably faster. Pininfarina quotes a 0-62 mph time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph.
