Florida man rapes and beats his 3 year old stepdaughter to death

A 19 year old Florida man Pascal Kaufmann (pictured above) has been arrested for allegedly raping and beating his 3 year old step-daughter to death, Charlie Brame died in hospital on Monday Nov. 24th. Police say she died from severe brain trauma & had signs of recent 'sexual & aggravated abuse'

According to Orlando Sentinel, the little girl was rushed to the hospital after Kaufmann reported she'd stopped moving at their home on Saturday November 22nd. When paramedics arrived at the home, the little girl was struggling to breathe, with bruises covering her back and head.

Kaufmann told police the girl fell from a bed when he was babysitting her while the girl's mother was at work. The teen had moved to the US from Germany in August after meeting Charlie's mum on the internet. The couple had only married about a week ago.

Police arrested Kauffman after doctors revealed the girl had been penetrated and the wound to the back of the head inflicted

"It was unlikely that she could receive such severe head trauma from falling out of the bed. Her injuries were "more consistent with blunt trauma to the back of the skull." the police said

The little girl's father told reporters he'd been wary of Kauffman being around his child and had begged his ex never to leave his child alone with her new husband. He said he'd been trying to remove his little girl from the home before she was killed.

Kaufmann will face murder charges...

N'Assembly drama: Senate sets up panel to probe IG of Police

The IG of Police Sulaiman Abba was invited by the House yesterday to explain why his men invaded the National Assembly last week Thursday but after the meeting abruptly ended over the IG's refusal to properly address Speaker Tambuwal, the Senate has now set up a committee to probe IGP Abba and other policemen involved in the siege.

A seven-member committee has been set up to probe the action of the police on that day and the committee have been given seven days to have those behind it brought to book.

Members of the panel include Senator Ahmed Makarfi, who will act as chairman, Abubakar Bagudu, Victor Lar, Adegbenga Kaka, Paulinus Igwe Nwagu, Mohammed Jibrilla Bindowo, and Ehigie Uzamere.

"We are appointing members from this House and we are not bringing anybody from outside and nobody is going to interfere in the work of the committee. We want them to be very thorough, we want them to be very sincere and we want them also to bring the report as quickly as possible.” Senate president David Mark said

"That act was unconstitutional, criminal, deliberate and intended to tell us that we are not what we are or what we called ourselves.Where are the privileges of the National Assembly? Can this action be contemplated in South Africa, Ghana, Cameroon or even Mali that is close by? It is impunity of the highest order and we must act and very seriously to do justice to this issue in order to restore the dignity and sanctity of the National Assembly.” - Senate Minority Leader, George Akume said

New report claims the 2 Indian girls found hanging from tree were not murdred, but committed suicide

The two teenage Indian girls who were found hanging from a tree in May (read here) were not murdered or raped, that is what The Indian Central Bureau of Investigation claimed today.

The cousins, 15 year old Pushpa and 14 year old Murti had gone missing on May 27th after they told their family they wanted to go use the toilet in a nearby field. They were later found hanging from a mango tree in the remote village in Uttar Pradesh .

The girls were initially believed to have been gang-raped and murdered by five Indian men but the CBI says that's not what happened.

"Yes, we have cracked the Badaun case. Our probe found that the two girls had committed suicide and weren’t murdered,” CBI director Ranjit Sinha said

The CBI also claimed that the girls had not been “sexually assaulted or raped”, according to the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) in Hyderabad - a verdict that was also confirmed by a medical board.
