100 Influential Africans: Dangote, Ezekwesili, 29 Nigerians make list
The New African Magazine, a pan African magazine based in London has released its list of 100 influential African which has 31 Nigerians including Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, former Education Minister & convener of the Bring Back Our Girls Group, Oby Ezekwesili making the list.
President Jonathan was conspicuously absent from the list which had four African Presidents- President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, President Idriss Déby of Chad and President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda.
The list featured in their new edition which hits stands today, also has award winning actress Lupita Nyong'o as one of those who made the cut.
South Africans and Nigerians dominated the list with each country having 33 and 31 entries respectively.

Violent protests in US after grand jury decides not to indict police man who killed unarmed teen
Thousands of people flooded the streets from L.A. to New York late Monday night after a grand jury decided they were not going to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed 18 year old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, saying that officer Wilson acted 'lawful'.
The jury was of course composed of 12 people; six white men, three white women, two black women and one black man.
The protesters flooded the streets burning cars, setting buildings on fire, torching police cars, looting shops, flooding highways and causing massive chaos especially in St. Louis and Oakland, California. See some photos after the cut...

P-Square loses dad two years after losing their mum
Two years after losing their mum, the Okoye boys have lost their father. Mr Okoye died today November 24th. A source close to the family told LIB exclusively that the late Mr. Okoye recently had a successful knee surgery and was about going for physiotherapy when he just fell. So sad. May his soul rest in peace...Amen.
